In quite a number of instances, I have presented to the Unariun student the obvious necessity of progressive evolution, or conversely, the retrogressive evolution which leads back into oblivion. The thought has occurred to me on many occasions that I could very well be accused of using the same coercive tactics used by the religionist in his heaven or hell doctrine. If this is so, then may I paraphrase Daniel Webster who said, “If this be treason, make the most of it,” so, if I am using coercive tactics, then you, the student, should make the most out of it. However, no defense is needed, nor am I using coercive tactics; for how else could I present to you the simple alternative, the progressive life or the retrogressive death principle, until the time when your mental evolution has carried you beyond the point where you need to use the reactionary elements of your third-dimensional world. I will have to, by necessity, use these elements in helping you attain the first perspectives of Immortal Life.
Every day that you live you are, figuratively speaking, taking out one more shovel-full of earth from that grave you are digging for yourself in which you will someday lay down your physical body. How much of you will there be left that will survive above and beyond this grave? Will you wiggle your way senselessly through a hellish nightmare to the next convenient hole and again re-emerge into some earthly world to repeat the mistakes and transgressions of the past, to relive in increased intensity the heavy accumulation of painful karma? For indeed, as your psychic anatomy is composed of these energy configurations, to live and relive, so they must be restimulated and refortified with similar energy configurations; or instead, would you not prefer to find yourself on that day of departure standing upright in the next world, to be able to see, feel, and hear telepathically which is the manner of these worlds, as there are no physical bodies?
And so if it is coercion, or by any other term or by any other method, it would be justified in usage if it would be the means of saving your life; if I can somehow jolt you out of the complete circumference of your personal ego where you can be confronted with the necessity of survival through constructive evolution, or death, which already has begun to manifest itself in your body and in your consciousness. As a progressive plane of evolution, the earth world can support and progressively incline, plant and animal life up to certain terminating points. All species are constantly changing to meet the demand of progressive evolution, for the world is indeed moving through the cyclic fields of force through the cosmic universe, and these fields as part of Infinity, supply at least in part, both the life sustaining and governing power which make earth life possible.
In your earth life you, therefore, are like a man who climbs a mountain; when he reaches the top, he must come down again unless he can find a higher mountain immediately in front of him. Unlike mountain climbing, however, in real life the downward trail leads to oblivion. Infinity always presents a higher mountain—more correctly, a higher, more expanded cycle of consciousness; and when this cycle is completed, you must have already begun to travel upon another even higher, more expanded cycle.
It is not simple to present, in the reactionary elemental vernacular of the earth world, a fundamental curriculum of Infinity or the elements to perpetuate your survival unless this presentation is done in the vernacular familiar to you. Within myself I have this curriculum minus the reactionary elements. Instead of reaction there is integration. Repercussion has been replaced with coordination and so on ad infinitum.
An intelligent hypothesis of life is achieved only when the human intellect can be developed beyond the point of necessity for such elemental reactionary elements of his earth life philosophy, and even though the earth man does, as of today, still live completely by them, he, individually and collectively, will always come to that jumping off place in his evolution where they can no longer sustain him. Life, itself, as is lived by the earth man, is coercive and all reactionary stances of any person’s life are, in themselves, coercive elements. They demand that every person completely abscond to the conformities of his society. Fear is the negative or minus potential in every aspect of life, yet inversely in cyclic motion, becomes the positive dominant force of his life. So live on then, fellow student, not inducing reactionary elements from whatever I may present to you mingled in the package of Infinite Truth which I give you, for it is in this way I have made them presentable to you. But learn to live beyond the presentation and garner this Infinite Wisdom to help reconstruct your psychic anatomy, to build and rebuild your intellect to a capacity which will enable you to survive upright beyond the grave.
