Every person who is sincerely dedicated in attaining a higher spiritual way of life, in achieving immortality, and living in the higher spiritual dimensions, should begin at once to learn of the Infinite Creator and to practice such knowledge; also, he should begin to strip from himself and remove all various materialistic, obsessive, intimidating concepts and thought forms which will remain with him in this material world. For as long as these different thought forms, which are coercive in nature, remain with him, they will surely bind him to the earth world and its way of life. These numerous configurations of intimidating agencies and thought forms can be anything from eating and sleeping, to different conformities of society, political systems, etc.; but above all else, his concepts of the religious systems under which he has been concurrently living, since the beginning of his evolution, must be re-evaluated.
In the words of the religionist himself, he must cleanse and purify his garments of all earthly taint before he can enter the kingdom of heaven. However, at this point we do depart from the context of religion; for any and all religions – whatever their names may be, and in whatever way they are known or practiced – do exist by the same coercive principle; that all adherents must resign themselves to more or less complete dominion by the priesthood of these religions; all mental and moral justifications are, in the end, a result of the different configurations of deistic forces which are in effect at that particular moment. Therefore, the adherent, at least, so far as he is able to determine for himself, has been relieved of all moral responsibility and all personal integrity in justifying these different deistic systems which are called religion.
The way to a higher spiritual life is an interdimensional proposition, and predicated upon the individual presentation that every person must, through experience, and through other different personal factors of intelligent introspection, progress or evolve into these higher spiritual worlds as a matter of personal evolution. It cannot be done for him by the priesthood of a church or a temple; it cannot be done by some supposed deification. The individual himself, and he alone, can and must accomplish this supreme objectivism. To better serve the purpose of removing such obsessive and intimidating thought forms and other concepts from their position in the psychic anatomy, and the possibility that they are subconsciously or consciously exerting some influence in your daily life, we will again examine some of the more historical aspects or the beginnings of the Christian religion as it is posed in the Bible.
First however, we must destroy the illusion of sacredness or the belief that the Bible is a sacred and holy book. Actually there is nothing sacred nor holy in the entire Infinite Universe; nor in the entire Infinite macrocosm – save that our own personal and moral integrity should be held sacred and inviolate above all other things, and also our right to achieve immortal life through the doorway of our own personal integrity. The reference that the Bible is a sacred book is strictly heresay and is not supported, either by fact or by any other means, despite the wide acclaim among the ecclesiastical religionists who support their religion in this claim.
The Bible must be regarded as simply a compilation of fact and fiction, and it is largely legendary in nature; therefore, it can be reasonably supposed that these various protocols, which are related not only to community life, but also to religion in general, wherein the peoples of different nations were concerned with the development of this religion, had been handed down from father to son and from generation to generation.
In different epistles of Unarius we have presented various aspects of this historical background and explained how present-day Christianity is merged with numerous different cultisms and paganisms of the past; the derivations and extractions of these religions, were merged into the first Christian Church by Paul, at the beginning of the Christian era. Up until some two or three hundred years before the crucifixion, there is absolutely no evidence to substantiate any claim that there is a written record of the Jewish people; all such different histories have come down through the epochs of time as a matter of legend; that is, they have been stories told, retold, and recounted from generation to generation, and can be reasonably supposed to have a considerable amount of distortion and various other intimidating elements which have entered into the relating of these experiences; so at no time can they be reasonably supposed to be pure in nature and related to the actual transposition or happenings of those people. Moreover, those people were, in more ancient times, under the influence of various superstitions much more strongly than people are at the present time. They had no recourse to science, neither did they know of the diverse ways in which life could be manifest from the higher spiritual worlds, nor of the different agencies which were more scientifically related to mankind and his life on the planet earth.
Therefore, all religions were deistic in nature; they constructed their own effigies, worshipped them, and relegated the various dispensations of these gods through the priesthood of their churches. One of the prime deifications which has survived through time is Jahweh. Some 2500 years B.C., Jahweh, the old Babylonian god of Abraham, was worshipped by Abraham and formed the dominating figure, not only of Christianity, but also of the Moslem world and its readaptations of God known as Allah. However, the first five books of the Old Testament are basically intact in the Koran, just as they are in the Bible; and these were relayed down through the different epochs and phases of historical advents of the Jewish people in their final written form in the Old Testament.
Let us begin in Genesis to more or less scientifically scrutinize the Bible, to place it under a different light where, in the variances of this introspection, we can point out the most obvious flaws, discrepancies, and other false beliefs which have survived through the centuries. The Old Testament begins by saying that first there was darkness; then the Lord said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Now, this presents some obvious discrepancies, and a somewhat enigmatical position with the Creator who, up until that time when He said, “Let there be light,” was apparently floating about suspended in space and total darkness, having neither purpose nor reason for His existence; yet such a powerful entity was able to instantaneously create light, and after having created light, He then further points out the disparity of His position, that He was floating in space unattended and without any apparent rhyme or reason for being a God.
Now, after having created the earth, He found that it was complete in every respect, except for one thing – there were no people. So He created man, and in this creation He apparently abandoned His previous hocus-pocus – abracadabra disposition and got down into creating more earth-like effigies such as taking mud from the river bank, and like some small child, constructed it into the figure of a man. Than He breathed the breath of life into it. This is a further distorted concept of that which we might reasonably accept from such an entity or a god who was powerful enough to create universes.
However, our depreciation of God is not complete unless we continue further into our discussion. It is said by the religionist and by the Christian that God created man in His own image; if this is true, then we can only say that the first and original concept of God, as being a Supreme Being, is not entirely whole and is subject to doubt and criticism. For all men are said to have a sexual mechanism, and if this is so and man is created in the image of God, then surely God had sexual parts. This is further substantiated by the fact that after having created Adam, God realized that Adam was alone, so He created woman; this He did by taking one of Adam’s ribs; which further deviated from the usual hocus-pocus – abracadabra method by which He first had created the heavens and the earth.
It is not stated nor clearly defined in the Bible that woman was included in the supposition that she was also created in God’s image; but this is usually taken for granted. Therefore, we can assume that as man and woman are now merged into two identities within God, that God was bisexual, or in other words, He was what is commonly known as a hermaphrodite. He was capable, not only of self insemination, but also He was capable of delivering a child. If this is true, then why should this same God so intimidate Mary, as is recorded in the New Testament, and enter into what is called immaculate conception; when God could have accomplished this same purpose individually and by Himself? Of course these various intimations in this creative process are false and ridiculous, and belong only to the infantile minds who can believe them in the fanaticism of their religion; they do not bear up under the strong light of logic or reason, and they have no place in anyone’s personal religion.
Now, let us continue on into our discussion. Apparently, the place where Adam and Eve were stationed was in the Garden of Eden, an idealistic sort of a situation where they could wander around and do nothing but eat and sleep all day, and live, more or less, in a state of earthly bliss, which was very much like that which could be reasonably supposed to exist in heaven. There was no cause nor reason for Adam and Eve; they were here simply because God had created them so, shall we say, in a moment of experimentation or as an idle gesture. However, Adam and Eve, quickly found ways to relieve this monotony, and if it can be said to be so, there was a certain amount of hanky-panky which entered into the scene at this moment; this hanky-panky, it is said, was instituted by the serpent.
The serpent itself is one of those choice bits of Christian orthodoxy which is utterly false in nature; yet when they are stripped to the core, there is a tiny kernel of truth which shows that these different ideologies had their beginnings in a much more tangible and truthful relationship than they do so presently exist. The serpent is a representation of the sine wave which was taught in the Lemurian civilization so many thousands of years ago; yet the aboriginal earth man could not understand the sine wave and its implication in bringing any and all different earth life dispositions to him; all earth life forms of consciousness are the result of the varied sine wave transpositions. So, the serpent became the symbology of the sine wave because, as the little snake crawled through the grass, these primitive people saw the sine wave in action; therefore, the snake became a symbology in relation to the various properties of the material world and its subsequent evil, which was always manifest in these different transpositions of earthly life.
The apple, in itself, was not really an apple; it was a pomegranate, and because it is composed almost entirely of seeds, was obviously the symbol of fertility. The implication here being that the earth world had, therefore, tempted Adam and Eve into some sort of a physical discrepancy, irrespective of the fact that they were quite obviously created for that specific purpose. In fact, the Bible does say, in at least one other place, that man should go forth and be fruitful and replenish the earth. Yet, at the time of the creation of Adam and Eve, this was not the thought which God apparently had in mind. And so when he found there was hanky-panky going on in the Garden of Eden, He became very angry and kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden; so, they were forced to enter into the different phases of material life and work out their own destiny as best they could in their own way, irrespective of the divine guidance which they had had in the Garden of Eden.
If we go further along into this so-called holy book, we shall find numerous stories which have become choice and classical bits of literature in the ecclesiastical repertoire. These include such sundry depictions as Noah’s Ark, Jonah, The Tower of Babel, the Walls of Jericho, Joshua, the sun standing still, the various exploits of Moses in the Exodus, and leading the Children of Israel into the Promised Land, etc. There are, of course, many others which cannot be mentioned at this time, but irrespective of what they are, if we examine them closely and strip them of their different distortions and fabrications, which they have acquired from telling and retelling through the generations of time, we will find that there is a perfectly natural or logical explanation to these tales, which completely strips them of any supernatural innuendo and relegates them into the more natural and normal phenomena of earth world happenings.
For instance, let us take the story of Moses leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt through the Red Sea; as you are familiar with this version: the Lord, at the command of Moses, parted the waters of the Red Sea, etc. However, this is not entirely true. If we examine the geography of the Red Sea, we will find that it is a long, narrow body of water which stretches almost directly east and west across the continents between Africa and Asia; therefore, it is extremely subjected to the differences in tides which are manifest by the phases of the moon. In the upper reaches of the Red Sea, where the entrance of the Suez Canal is located, there are vast tidelands; these are places where the high tides, which are sometimes twelve feet high, can sweep in over the land – which is a marshy, muddy place – and completely inundate it. At other times the tides will recede for many hours, during which time, the strong tropical sun will bake this mud and form a hard crust – something like thin ice – sufficient to support the weight of a person if he passes rather rapidly across the surface.
Now, Moses knew of this tideland, and the right time at which a crossing could be attempted; also, this wily old fox supposed the Pharaoh’s armies would be chasing him at this same time. The Pharaoh was trying to recapture the Israelites because civilizations like Egypt depended upon slave labor for the normal function of building and repairing various buildings, temples, etc. Therefore, the Pharaoh could ill afford to have thousands of Israelites escaping into some unknown place in a land where he would have no power nor control over them. So, Moses led the children of Israel across these tidelands at the proper time when there was the hardest crust and when the armies of the Pharaoh, composed largely of horses and heavy chariots, attempted to follow, they broke through this crust, became hopelessly mired, and with the return of the tide, they were, of course, drowned.
Likewise, if we go back into more recent periods of Moses’ life – which predated the Exodus – to the time when he supposedly inflicted the seven different plagues on the land of Egypt, by commanding God to so do, we will find that all of these seven plagues were quite normal and natural phenomena which had happened before this time and have happened many times since. These plagues, if you remember, were happenings or events which took place in the land of Egypt during the years in which Moses was trying to liberate the Israelites from the yoke of the Pharaoh. They comprised such things as the plagues of locusts, lice, rivers of blood, great darkness, the plague of frogs, and finally the death of the first born in Egyptian households which became the basis for the present Jewish Passover.
If you remember reading the history of Moses, you will find that when he and Aaron first went to the Pharaoh, Aaron cast down his rod and it became a serpent; however, this trick was well known by the Pharaoh and he was not impressed. He nodded to his priest to also cast down his rod, and it likewise became a serpent. Obviously there was a bit of hocus-pocus involved here, and a harmless serpent had been concealed in the clothing and released at the proper moment; a simple trick of magic which was known and practiced by many people at that time and present-day magicians have exceeded this bit of magic.
So having failed to impress the Pharaoh, Moses had to resort to other forms of chicanery. Having some knowledge of events which were about to happen, or which in various ways he was able to more or less predict, or anticipate, he would at the proper moment, rush to the Pharaoh, tell him that his god was going to inflict a certain something on the land of Egypt, and when the circumstance arrived, he would point it out to the Pharaoh; after a series of these different happenings, the Pharaoh was evidently impressed enough to let Moses escape with the children of Israel into that famed land of milk and honey.
Let us examine a few of these peculiar advents which so impressed the Pharaoh, for instance the “Rivers of Blood.” Today science knows there is a certain type of bacteria or algae which can be swept up into the upper reaches of the atmosphere; it is red in color and when it multiplies under the right conditions, will fall down into the clouds below; and when normal precipitation begins to occur, the rain sometimes is colored red with this bacteria. It is harmless and means nothing except that it is a phenomenon. Quite often mountain sides have been covered with this red snow; therefore, we can easily discount the “Rivers of Blood.” Frogs too, have been known to have their cycles of appearance and disappearance in large numbers. Likewise, we all know of grasshopper plagues and lice too, follow a cyclic motion. The period of darkness over the land of Egypt could be easily explained as either an eclipse or an explosion of a volcano which threw great quantities of powdered ash into the higher reaches of the atmosphere; this could have hung over Egypt for some time and partially obliterated the sun. So you see there is really nothing supernatural about any of these tales; likewise, any of the other stories in the Bible, which are so classically depicted in Sunday Schools, taught to children, and believed by adults, all, can be very simply and easily explained on the same basis. There was nothing supernatural in them at all. Moses was merely a charlatan who succeeded, just as many others did, in capitalizing on some natural phenomena or some fete of magic to impress people into serving whatever purpose he had in mind.
So, if you would have eternal life in the higher worlds, begin at once to rid yourself of these false and idle concepts born from out the superstitions of the past, embellished with the aura of magical and worshipful sacredness and holiness; for these things are untrue, they will bind you to this earth world with chains stronger than of steel, if you continue to believe in them. They are strictly the property of the more elemental people who have come up through the pages of time to their present position in this earth world.
